The pilot episode followed a Singaporean Hindu on a pilgrimage to India’s holy sites seeking peace for his parents’ souls. It was Channel NewsAsia’s Documentary of the Week around Deepavali in 2009.
Producing this episode was certainly eye-opening, as I not only got to understand another faith through the eyes of these pilgrims, but I also came to appreciate a different culture.
