The centuries-old traditions of the Chitty may be fading away, so we counted ourselves fortunate and honored to witness their community festival up close. The Chitty have an all-embracing culture that is a blend of Indian Hindu and native Malaccan.
Interestingly, the “Food Nation” series got a second lease of life on Mediacorp Channel U in 2011. Dubbed into Mandarin, it became a highly-rated series on Channel U and earned good reviews.
